The RS President and the Union of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) announced that new members to the RS government will be elected, and they believe that it should be completed in 10 days.

Since it would be a reconstruction of the RS government, and there could only be a change of 3 ministers because that is what happened in Aleksandar Džombić’s cabinet, Dodik said that due to that they would have an election for a new executive authority. Also, a number of ministers will remain in the new session, and one would be ‘replaced’.

“I can say that it is about 4 or 5 new people’’, said Dodik to journalists in Teslić yesterday.

He confirmed that they will turn to the procedure for proposing mandates and composition of the new government, a session of parliament, and says that it could be completed within 7-10 days because there is a parliamentary majority and a coalition agreement for the personnel changes in in RS government composition.

He added that the “the person at that time who is responsible to receive the mandate to form the government” would supply a statement on the activities of the RS government.

Dodik added that in the next days there would be a meeting with the current President of the RS government Aleksandar Džombić to discuss this.

He said that talks with other political partners represented in the Parliament of the RS are to see if they would offer their support, but he assures that the SNSD has a parliamentary majority and that it would not ignore the ‘noise’ from the opposition.
