The incumbent President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik has sent a telegram to the Associations of Serbian Dramatic Artists on the occasion of the death of Serbian actress Milena Dravic.

In the telegram, Dodik said he was deeply saddened  when he received the news that the famous Serbian actress Milena Dravic passed away.

“On this occasion, I want to, on behalf of the citizens of RS and my name, express my deepest condolences to her family and all those who loved and respected her. During her rich acting career, Milena Dravic marked a whole period of Yugoslav and Serbian theater”, was stated in the telegram.

Actress Milena Dravic, one of Yugoslavia’s most revered actors, died on Sunday in Belgrade at the age of 78.

Dravic, who featured in more than 150 movies and television series over a career that spanned more than six decades, passed away in the early hours of October 14 after a long battle with an undisclosed illness, according to the Serbian Association of Dramatic Artists.
