The Republican Administration of Civil Protection called on the population to carefully plan their stay outdoors and protect their property on Sunday and Monday, March 10 and 11, due to the predicted stormy wind.

The Republic Administration states that on Sunday, according to the meteorologist’s forecast, gusts of 40 kilometers per hour are expected in the north-east of the Republika Srpska, up to 80 kilometers in Semberija and Posavina, and up to 90 kilometers per hour in the higher areas of Krajina and Herzegovina.

The wind will weaken during the night in the north, but in other regions it will be strong to stormy, while on Monday morning and from mid-day it will weaken in all areas.

Gusts of 40 to 70 kilometers per hour are expected, in higher localities in Herzegovina in places above 80 kilometers, while weaker winds are expected along the Sava River.

The Republic Administration of Civil Protection points out that they are monitoring the situation in contact with local authorities.
