mountainsDue to excessive air pollution in the capital city of B&H, a large number of citizens from Sarajevo decided to spend their weekend at one of the Olympic Mountains.

Trebevic is full of visitors today, guests are enjoying walks without fog and smog, which is covering the capital city. Many of them stopped by the new hotel “Pino Nature” where they had the opportunity to grab a coffee or lunch as from this weekend. Children’s playground is available as well.

Tourists occupied Jahorina, Bjelasnica and Igman, as well as all local picnic sites next to major cities in B&H, that are full. Temperatures in whole B&H are good today, which could be changed next weekend.

Meteorologists are announcing rainfall after the New Year, or a long-awaited snow will affect the disappearance of fog and smog. Temperatures will be gradually decreased.

There is increased presence of sulfur dioxide and soot particles in the air these days, which is why doctors recommend a visit to the mountains. Citizens of Sarajevo and Zenica are particularly exposed to air pollution, which can be very hazardous to our health and most often affects the respiratory system.
