Russia’s UN ambassador, Vassily Nebenzia, told the Security Council that the United States had “once again shown complete contempt for the views of the international community” by attacking Iranian facilities.
“The US is ready not only to turn a blind eye to the killing of tens of thousands of Palestinian women, children and the elderly, but also to gamble with the security and well-being of humanity as a whole.”
He added that the United States’ actions in Iran had opened a “Pandora’s box” from which “no one knows what new catastrophe and suffering it will bring,” Al Jazeera reported.
