The Russian Ministry of Defense announced yesterday that Ukraine attempted to attack civilian ships in the Black Sea.
The ministry said the incident occurred on Friday evening when Ukraine used several unmanned boats against Russian civilian transport vessels in the southwestern Black Sea region.
“Civilian transport ships and ships of the Russian Navy were not damaged in the attack,” they added.
Russia began its “special military operation” in Ukraine in February 2022.
Meanwhile, Russian news agency TASS reported that Russia has decided to terminate the lease agreement with the Ukrainian Embassy in Moscow.
