At a solemn ceremony held on February 3 in Banja Luka, the Russian light multi-purpose Ansat twin-engine helicopter with the associated medical equipment was handed over to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
The event was attended by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska Dragan Lukac, the head of the Republika Srpska representation in Moscow Dusko Petrovic and from the Russian side the general director of the Russian Helicopters holding Andrej Boginski, the executive director of the Kazan Helicopter Institute Alexei Belih and the Russian deputy ambassador to BiH Alexei Kerestedzhiyants.
