Russia’s MERE retail chain plans to expand its presence in the Balkans by entering the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ros Produkt Servis, part of the Russian Trgoservis group, plans to enter the BiH market by opening dozens of retail outlets, reports the Biznisinfo portal.

The group plans to open the first discount stores under the MERE brand in Sarajevo, Tuzla, Zenica, Mostar, Banja Luka and other cities.

Future retail facilities in BiH will cover an area of 1,000 and more square meters.

Apart from BiH, MERE plans to enter the markets of Northern Macedonia, Greece, Bulgaria…

In December last year, they started doing business in Serbia by opening the first markets, Biznis Info writes.
