Sejad Salihovic, who scored on Saturday for HSV against Mainz entered into history of the Bundesliga for scoring one of the ten best penalties in the German championship of all time.
Salihovic scored a goal against Mainz, thereby equalizing himself with the legendary Ginter Netzer. Both scored 29 goals from the white spot, while Netzer was more often inaccurate. Namely, he missed six time, while Salihovic missed only four times. Twice the goalkeeper stopped his shot and twice he missed the entire goal.
The other best players in the Bundesliga are Lothar Mathaus, Stefan Kuntz, Georg Volkert, Wilfried Hannes, Paul Breitner, Horst-Dieter Hottges, Michael Zorc, Gerd Muller and Manfred Kaltz who even hit 53 points from the white spot with seven misses.
