The Embassy of Germany in BiH said that announcements of certain BH media that citizens of BiH will be able to work in Germany without a visa as of January 1, 2018, are incorrect.

“It is not true that a new law, which should allow citizens of non-EU countries to be employed in EU countries under the same conditions as EU citizens, will be in force from January 1, 2018,” as said in the statement.

The Embassy of Germany in BiH suggested to everyone to get information on the conditions and the anticipated waiting time for working visas on the website of the Embassy of Germany in BiH.

To recall, certain media in BiH wrote that a new employment law will be applied from January, next year, according to which all citizens will be employed under the same conditions as the citizens of EU. They also wrote that this information will be confirmed by the official institutions by the end of the month of November.
