The twelfth edition of the OREA Art Market, the most significant regional sales-promotional, creative, cultural and socially responsible event, was held in Sarajevo last Sunday, which this year gathered almost 2,500 visitors and 50 exhibitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.

During the one-day event, visitors had the opportunity to explore the offer of local and regional creatives, designers, artists and small brands in the most fun and relaxed atmosphere, and enjoy a variety of content that included a rich gastronomic offer, music program and additional activities for visitors of all generations.

This year’s edition of OREA Art Market once again confirmed its role as a platform that connects the creative industry and the wider community, providing space for the promotion of small businesses and local creativity, and maps Sarajevo as the most significant destination on the regional creative and entrepreneurial map.

As in all previous years, the special focus this year was on the socially responsible character of the event. Thanks to the joint contribution of visitors, exhibitors and partners, a total of 15,671.40 KM was raised for the work of the Association “Heart for Children with Cancer”. The donation was realized through multiple sources, since part of the proceeds were allocated by the exhibitors of the OREA Art Market, all the income from tickets was donated for this purpose, as well as the income from the Manuel stand through donations from visitors.

Crvena jabuka market this year, through its engagement at the OREA Art Market, contributed to the creation of a special gastronomic segment of the event, which was fully dedicated to the humanitarian purpose and the inclusion of visitors in a joint support campaign, and all the income generated by the sale of its gastronomic offer and products during the event and a donation of 3,000 BAM were directed to support children with cancer.

Additional support was provided by the Lottery of Bosnia and Herzegovina with a donation of 6,000 KM, further strengthening the joint mission of the event.

Within the framework of the 12th edition of the OREA Art Market, visitors were offered a varied program which, in addition to the exhibition part, also included a gastro zone with an offer of local and regional specialties, drinks and products, a DJ program, and contents intended for families and the youngest visitors.

This year, the Market has retained its recognizable concept of an open, inclusive and sustainable event, with the practice of organization based on the principles of waste-free events and the use of a recycling system in cooperation with partners. A special segment of the event was dedicated to families and children, with creative workshops and content adapted to the youngest visitors, as well as infrastructural solutions that facilitate the stay of families with babies and pets, confirming the inclusive character of the event.

The holding of the 12th OREA Art Market once again confirmed its position as a regional platform that connects creative industries, local and regional brands, and the community, with the aim of creating a sustainable and socially responsible cultural and creative event in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
