Samardžić Wins Gold, Sadiković Silver at the European Judo Cup Juniors

judoJunior judo team of B&H won two medals at the European Cup Juniors in Prague.

Aleksandra Samardžić won the golden medal in the category up to 70 kilograms, while Harun Sadiković won the silver medal in the category up to 100 kilograms – was announced at the B&H Judo Union.

In the first round, Samardžić beat an Italian Giorgia Stagherlin and later Miriam Butkereit from Germany. In the half finals she beat Aleksandra Jablonska from Poland and finally she won the gold medal by defeating Alessandra Prosdocimo from Italy.

Sadiković who is runner-up of the world in the category up to 18 years defeated today Stephan Heghy from Austria, Sebastin Fagerhill from Sweden and Joao Silva from Brazil.

He lost in the final match from Anton Rudnik from Ukraine.
