Samir Avdic is the New Minister of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton

Samir Avdic, celebrated Bosnian basketball player and former captain of the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, will be the new Minister of Culture and Sports in the Government of Sarajevo Canton.

Avdic comes to the position of minister as a proposal of the NiP (People and Justice) party.

Samir Avdic is currently the sports director of the BiH basketball team, and in his career he played in BiH, Turkey and Spain, and was a longtime member and captain of the BiH basketball team.
