The regime tried once again to deceive and humiliate the citizens of the Republika Srpska (RS), but this time they were caught in the act. We insist that all perpetrators and those who ordered the organised electoral theft be strictly punished, because citizens are eager for justice and deserve to live in a state that will not lie, deceive at every step, and keep them in constant uncertainty, said Branko Blanusa, the candidate of the SDS for President of the RS.
“The decision of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) to repeat the elections at 136 polling stations is confirmation of everything we said after November 23rd: the electoral process has been completely undermined and theft occurred at every step, from identity theft and voting in place of people who did not turn out, to theft during the counting. We also said that these elections would only end once the electoral process is repeated in Doboj, Zvornik, and Laktasi. We say this again today. The CEC should adopt a new decision and repeat the elections at all polling stations in these cities. This was organised theft, as evidenced by the data obtained by the CEC. These cities have traditionally served the regime to mock the will of the people, Blanusa emphasised.
He added that the data show that the results after the annulment of the elections at the mentioned 136 polling stations are completely different.
“According to the latest data, without the results from the annulled 136 polling stations, we are in the lead and have more than six thousand votes of advantage. Now we must all together defend the victory and the will of the people. The repeated elections will be a kind of referendum, between constant humiliation and uncertainty on the one hand, and justice and a dignified life on the other. The regime will not give up theft and deception in order to preserve privileges and continue to live comfortably off our money. I guarantee to the citizens of the RS that in the repeated elections not a single vote will be abused and that justice, which we have waited for so long, will finally prevail,“ Blanusa concluded, the SDS announced.
