The Hero Award is among the highest honors given by the President’s Council.

Samir Becic said that he is humbled and honored to receive the Hero award from the PCSFN Presidential Council.

”To be recognized with the title of “Hero” is incredibly meaningful, as it reflects the collective efforts of all those who have joined me in promoting health and fitness in the U.S. This award inspires me to continue this vital work and strive to make an even greater impact on the lives of my fellow Americans,” he emphasized.

In addition to this upcoming recognition, Samir Becic was celebrated in Houston and received several awards. Mayor Sylvester Turner declared November 1st, 2022 “Samir BecicDay” in recognition of his four years of service as Houston’s official fitness czar and 20 years as health advisor to previous mayors. This recognition was further extended on January 10th, 2023, when Mayor Turner and 16 members of the Houston City Council saluted Becic‘s advocacy for health and fitness across the U.S.
