Sanjin Pehlivanovic won the 5th Place at the World Championship

sanjinFourteen year old multiple champion of B&H and European champion in the category up to 17 years in billiard Sanjin Pehlivanovic, participated on the World Junior Championships in the Chinese city of Shanghai. In the competition of 32 competitors, our brilliant, young athlete won a great 5th place, which is certainly one of the biggest achievements for B&H sport. It is worth noting that in the playoff semi-finals Sanjin was defeated by the later winner of the tournament, representative from Poland.

Also, before this tournament Sanjin participated in a high-quality tournament “Kremlin Cup” in the capital of Russia, where he won great 3rd place. Already mentioned tournament was played in the seniors’ competition, and our Sanjin, out of 128 participants including 3 World Champions, managed to win a medal.

“Participation on tournaments in Russia and China was a great experience for me and I am satisfied with my performance. I had the opportunity to play against the best players of the world and I believe that I represented B&H in the best way possible,” said Sanjin.
