Sarajevo Airport introduces E-Gate for faster Passenger Passage

As part of planned technological upgrades at Sarajevo International Airport, a new E-gate automatic door system is now available to passengers, enabling faster and more efficient passage to passport and security control. This system has been implemented to reduce congestion and improve the overall travel experience.

E-gate allows passengers who have completed the check-in process at the airport and received their boarding pass to independently proceed to the area designated exclusively for passengers. This automated system uses a boarding pass scanner, speeding up the process and reducing the need for manual checks by staff. Passengers simply scan their boarding pass at the automatic doors, allowing them quick and seamless passage through this checkpoint.

The implementation of the E-gate system enhances security and efficiency in airport operations, enabling a faster passenger flow and reducing waiting times at the checkpoint.

By introducing such technologies, Sarajevo Airport states that they continue to follow global standards and trends, making travel safer, faster, and more comfortable for all passengers.
