Sarajevo Airport saw its busiest month on record in August, handling over 300.000 passengers for the very first time.
It welcomed 311.827 travellers through its doors, representing an increase of 20.4%. The number of aircraft movements grew 10.3% to 2.414.
During the January – August period, Sarajevo Airport registered 1.552.145 passengers, up 20%, or an additional 300.986 customers.
Growth is expected to continue into September, with overall scheduled capacity up 16.3% year-over-year.
