Sarajevo Art-Concert of Boško Jović and Belma Alić

bosko_jovicSarajevo Art is organizing the participation of guitarist Boško Jović and celloist Belma Alić on Tuesday, 25 March in the Bosniak Institute-Foundation Adil Zulfikarpašić starting at 19:30.

The program will include pieces by composers Loilette J.B.de Gant, A. Vivaldi, B. Marcello, A. Pärt, H.V. Lobos and A. Piazzola.

Boško Jović graduated from the Music Academy Sarajevo (department of ethnomusicology) in 2004. He graduated from the department of guitar in 2006 by prof. Zoran Krajišnik and received his master degree in the department for guitar in the class by prof. Alexander Swete in 2010. Since 1994, he has been performing as a soloist in the Chamber Symphony Orchestra Zenica, and was a soloist several times of String Orchestra ‘2007’ and Sarajevo Philharmonic.

Belma Alić graduated in 2004 in the class of prof. Yevgeny Xaviereff at the MMusic Academy in Sarajevo. In 2007, she finished her postgraduate studies in the same class. She was a member of the International Youth String Orchestra (composer Simon Robinson) in Slovenia and two concert seasons of the World Symphony Orchestra Music of Youth. She performed as a soloist with the orchestra of Sarajevo Philharmonic, Symphony Chamber Orchestra Zenica, orchestra students of the Music Academy in Sarajevo, Chamber Orchestra of the Music Academy in Sarajevo and the Mostar Sinfonietta.
