[wzslider autoplay=”true”]Photo story Coming Shortly: Sarajevo by the French photographer Alban Lécuyer shows the current architectural challenges that Sarajevo faces with twenty years after the war.

Through the photographic research of the contemporary visual identity of Sarajevo, this photo story features the capital of BiH as the city on the crossroads between an Ex-Yu city and a modern metropolis.

In the story following this project of the French photographer, it is pointed out that the siege of Sarajevo was founded on the desire to destroy all cultural identity and as such it is defined as an urbicide – a crime that reflects in the systematic demolition of urban areas.

Take a look at unusual photographs on which the author combines the pieces of history with present scenes.
