Sarajevo-born Melita Mulić is Candidate for European Parliament for Croatia

In the upcoming elections for the Croatian representatives in the European Parliament on 14 April, she could be chosen and be the only one who was born in Sarajevo. Specifically, she is part of the Social-Democratic Party of Croatia. She was born in Sarajevo in 1976 and currently lives and works in Zagreb.

Since 2012 Mulić was a member of the Croatian Parliament where she was also, among other things, a member of the Committee on Human Rights and Rights of National Minorities, the Interparliamentary Cooperation Committee, Committee for European Integration, the Committee for Gender Equality, and the Croatian Parliament Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean.

She graduated from the University in Zadar in the Department for Information and Communication. She received her MA at the University in Sussex in the United Kingdom in contemporary European Studies.
