The Sarajevo Canton government has set aside 100,000 BAM to help Ukraine. The conclusion on the allocation of funds from the budget was made at yesterday night telephone session, in order to alleviate the humanitarian crisis, as well as the devastating consequences of the aggressor’s attack on this country.

The Sarajevo Canton is in solidarity with the people of Ukraine, who are going through similar sufferings as the inhabitants of Bosnia and Herzegovina three decades ago, it was said.

“We are deeply saddened and sympathize with the suffering of the population, as well as the destruction of Ukrainian cities. The CS government will find mechanisms to urgently deliver humanitarian aid to Ukraine,” said Prime Minister Edin Forto in yesterday’s  conversation with Serhiy Miniail from the Embassy of Ukraine in BiH.
