Minister of Economy of Sarajevo Canton Emir Hrenović talked yesterday in Sarajevo with minister-adviser to Embassy of Turkey to BiH Yasemin Eralp on the occasion of marking the ‘Children’s Day’.

They’ve agreed to include Ministry of Economy and Sarajevo Canton Government and to gather more than 5 000 children from the entire BIH in Olympic hall ‘Zetra’ where the event will be marked, said minister Hrenovica.

They talked about the preparation of meetings of businessmen and investors from Turkey and BiH.

The founder of ‘Children’s Day’ is Republic of Turkey, and the official date of marking according to the calendar of UNICEF is 23 April.

This is a traditional and important holiday in Turkey because in 1920 the founder of modern Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk symbolically gave the country to children at the session of National Assembly, and since then all children of Turkish descent all over the world mark that day.
