Sarajevo Canton Minister of Education Naida Hota-Muminović held a meeting with the head of the European Union Delegation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the EU’s Special Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Johann Sattler.

Ambassador Sattler congratulated Minister Hota-Muminović on her efforts to reform educational curricula in Sarajevo Canton. On that occasion, he underlined that the curricular reform is an important step towards the modernization of education and raising the quality of educational standards.

They also discussed the fact that Sarajevo Canton opened the doors of its schools for migrant children, where these children were able to continue their education, including the resources provided by the European Union.

“The image of Bosnia and Herzegovina in international circles must become one of the priorities of public office holders, and it will largely depend on our willingness to approach the quality standards that exist in the European Union. We will achieve this through dedicated work and constant efforts on the way to fulfilling the EU directives, so that we are ready for the candidate status,” emphasized Minister Hota-Muminović, it was announced from the CS Protocol and Press Service.
