The Sarajevo Cantonal Court ordered one month custody for Kemal Karahmet, director of the Tešanj company “Famus gradnja 3”, technical director Miralem Jahić, and head of construction Dženan Hadžem suspected of a serious crime against the security of persons and property in connection with irregular and improper conducting of construction works, FENA learns from the court.
“Famus gradnja 3” is a company that is building the facility in Hiseta street in Marijin Dvor in Sarajevo, where on Wednesday a serious accident occurred resulting in death of two workers.
The accident occurred when the scaffolding came down from the building.
The workers Razim Halilović and Enes Halilović died from injury, while the third injured Nevzet Halilović survived and is undergoing treatment.
Detention to Karahmet, Jahić and Hadžem has been determined because of the seriousness of the offense (punishable by up to five years in prison).
