The Minister of Transport of the Sarajevo Canton, Adi Kalem, confirmed that it was decided to buy the trolleybuses of the Belarusian company BKM Holding. He noted that the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is now on the move.

“Here, we have completely ended the public call according to EBRD procedures, the bidders have been selected, the company BKM Holding from Minsk, Belarus. The contract is ready, it is with the bank. We are now waiting for what the EBRD will do. We still hope it will go according to plan and that the contract will be signed, as planned, in the middle of this month. The delivery deadline is 16 months, with the first new trolleybuses to arrive in 2021. We hope that will be the case, “Kalem told FENA agency.

He did not specify what kind of trolleybuses it is, because the mentioned company from Minsk produces four models of such a vehicle. These are models 321, 333, 420 and 43303.

Details on the specifications of these vehicles are also available on the official website of BKM Holding and EUR 15 million will be set aside for the purchase of 25 of these trolleybuses.
