Lingvistika_kongres_logoAmong 10 towns around the world, Sarajevo is chosen to host the AILA (International Association of Applied Linguistics) World Congress 2014.

The richness of linguistic history in this area, as well as successful cooperation between universities and educational institutions in the region made Sarajevo the host of this important event. At the executive board of the AILA EBIC, there is reason to be satisfied.

This makes Sarajevo the first city in East Europe to host this congress since its foundation in 1964.

This event is organized and supported by the Association for applied linguistics (AALBiH) and the Burch University, Universities of Sarajevo, Zenica, Mostar, Banja Luka, Tuzla, Zagreb, Kopar, the Federal ministry of education, the Association for applied linguistics in Croatia, Montenegro and B&H.
