The participants gathered at the Trg Djece Sarajeva before noon and walked up to the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H carrying in their hands the “silhouettes of the missing persons”.

Silhouettes, designed by the members of the Civil society forum on memorialisation of the missing persons, which gather representatives of the associations of families and other activists from B&H, represent a creative and visible act which shows what’s it like to live without your beloved ones.

“The families are unhappy by the way things are moving – or – not moving. We won’t give up. We are here to send that message. We will keep on searching until we find our loved ones.” – said Ema Čekić, president of the Association of the families of missing persons of the Municipality Vogošća.
