The mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karic, initiated a meeting with the owners of Sarajevo’s famous ‘Cevabdzinica’.
The goal of that meeting was to protect and brand Sarajevo’s “Cevap” as an autochthonous domestic product.
”We have a vision, we have the preconditions to start the processes leading to national and international protection registration. Today we took a small but extremely important step, which is also confirmed by the world food atlas “The TasteAtlas”, which placed the Sarajevo “Cevap” in the top 10,” said the mayor of Sarajevo the day before yesterday, Avaz writes.
