The Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior announced that the public New Year’s Eve celebration in Sarajevo passed peacefully and without incidents, and announced how many people were in front of the Eternal Flame, where Adi Šoše and Severina performed.

“The public New Year’s Eve celebration in Sarajevo was attended by around 55,500 visitors. The gathering, which passed without incidents, ended 2 hours after midnight,” the Canton Ministry of Interior announced.

The Sarajevo police also reminded of the traffic changes related to the first day of the new year 2025.

“On Maršala Tita Street, on the section from Vječna vatre to Radićeva Street, and part of the sidewalks on the left and right sides of the road – the previously announced changes to the traffic regime remain in force today,” the Canton Ministry of Interior said.

Due to the dismantling of equipment, the establishment of the regular traffic regime in this part of Sarajevo is expected on January 2.
