The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton received a TOMA vehicle for responding to social incidents. It is a vehicle that consists of a cabin with ballistic protection, which is protected by an armored plate and equipped with glasses with the same degree of ballistic protection against armed attacks. The vehicle is operated by a driver and one operator.
The cabin is equipped with a positive pressure system and special filters to prevent various gases from entering the vehicle.
The vehicle’s superstructure and infrastructure are equipped with dedicated fire-fighting equipment, and the vehicle also has so-called “runflat” tires that allow driving in all situations.
The TOMA structure is mounted on a vehicle with a large load capacity and movement capacity and is equipped with various components that are controlled by software and a touch-sensitive computer.
The vehicle’s equipment includes a water cannon with 360-degree movement, which can eject water, foam, tear gas and paint mix at high pressure.
Part of the equipment is a high-resolution camera with optical zoom and a recording system, which is mounted on the spear.
MoI CS recently bought three Canadian Roshel Senator armored vehicles, which it intends to acquire in even greater numbers.
