The members of the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra will celebrate 2013 in grand style. With 2013, the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra will mark its 90th anniversary.
The New Year’s concert is announced for the 31st December, at the National Theater Sarajevo. The concert will start at 19:30 p.m.
On this occasion, the conductor Yair Semet from USA will come to attend the special ceremony of celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra. The members of the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra have prepared a program of classical music. The program will also host the performances of a Russian soprano Maria Lydko, Hirano Yasushi a bass baritone from Japan and clarinet player Georges Devdarioani from Russia.
On the occasion of the 90th anniversary, the members of the orchestra have participated in a photo shoot session for the magazine ” Gracija” that will feature the stories from this event.
