protA group of students from Sarajevo urged citizens of Sarajevo on peaceful assembly as a sign of solidarity with the demonstrators who are protesting now in Macedonia.

Through their Facebook page “The rally of support to protesters in Macedonia”, students invited citizens to gather on Monday, May 25, at 6 pm in the Veliki Park, where Macedonian activists will speak.

“Sarajevo will be the fourth city to support the protesters in Macedonia, after Ljubljana, London and Amsterdam,” says Rastko Antić, one of the organizers of gathering support.

He urged citizens to join them tomorrow in the Great Park at 6 pm, regardless of the weather.

“This will be the 20th day since the start of the protests in Skopje. Demonstrators are persistently demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski. They know that this is only the beginning of a fight! I had the honor to meet several participants of #protestiram movement, who came to Sarajevo at the conference this week. Their determination has inspired me a lot. Our goal is to convey that passion and activism from Macedonia on the streets of B&H if the media are not ready to publish what is happening on the field “, said Rastko.

On the end, he pointed out that the participants of #protestiram movement expressed their satisfaction that the rally of support will be held in Sarajevo.
