Sarajevo records Four New Cases of Coronavirus

In the past 24 hours, four new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in Sarajevo Canton out of 316 people tested. Seven of our fellow citizens recovered from the Covid-19 infection and, fortunately, no one died.

Currently, 30 patients are in hospital, 14 at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, and at the General Hospital "Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakas ”16.

There is one patient on the respirator, while two patients use oxygen support to breathe above 15 liters per minute.

Today, Sarajevo Canton records 75 active cases of covid-19 infection. There are currently 684 people in self-isolation. Since the beginning of the pandemic in the Sarajevo Canton, a total of 52,795 people infected with coronavirus have been registered and 51,433 cured.

According to the Canton Sarajevo Public Health Institute, in the past seven days the average number of infected people is 10, while the weekly incidence, ie the number of patients per 100,000 inhabitants, is 18.
