T30-24-Performing-ArtsThe program of performing arts is present in the Blooming Child school in Sarajevo for the last five years but from this year it’s available for those children which do not go to this educational institution regularly.

The program of the Performing arts school is based on a unique and highly personalized approach to performing arts in order to ensure that the children fulfil their potentials by enjoying a relaxed, creative and multi-cultural environment.

“We believe that art is necessary for the children’s education because it helps them in their intellectual, personal and social growth.” – said Maëlys de Rudder, director of the Performing arts school.

This program’s main philosophy is for the children to make art by interaction with their coevals, to understand and think about their roles as creative individuals.

The participants are working all year on a play or a film and perform it later in public. It helps to develop a critical approach and to strengthen self-confidence.

“The children will learn to sing, dance, write scripts, design costumes, make scenography and lots of more things under the supervision of highly qualified professionals who, via carefully elaborated programs adapted to every age, stimulate and improve the development of new skills from the field of performing arts. This is not a school for passive participants because each one of them must take an active role in every aspect of creation.” – said Danis Tanović, head of the program of the Performing arts school.

The inscriptions will last by the end of this month, for children from 6 to 15 years.
