VIJE?NICA VE? POKAZUJE LJEPOTU SVOJE UNUTRA¦NJOSTIThe City Hall of Sarajevo, the most representative and the most beautiful edifice of the Moorish Revival style burned totally in the night 25/26 August 1992.

The flame swallowed in just few hours the national treasure of the National and University library of B&H, the treasure so carefully stored, preserved and available for the citizens for half a century.

The artefacts to witness this event are exhibited today in the City Hall within an appropriate exhibition.

Just like the Phoenix, the City Hall arised from the ashes again, and it was solemnly opened on June 14th 2014, to mark the hundred years since the Sarajevo assassination.
