Sarajevo shines in Festive Attire

The Street New Year’s Festival, which opened in Radiceva Street two days ago, and will last until January 2nd of the following year, also contributes to the festive atmosphere in Sarajevo.

Citizens and tourists at the festival can experience art with light installations by young and established artists.

3D decorations

The installation of light decorations and illumination of popular locations was also carried out in Ferhadija, one of the busiest streets in the central part of the city, where light holiday decorations were installed in the form of balls, emoticons with hearts, light curtains…

At the beginning of December in Sarajevo, the realization of the project of holiday illuminations and decorations attractive for photography and promotion of the destination began, and Sarajevo’s streets, thoroughfares, squares, and other busy locations were decorated with 3D sleighs, deer, light balls and hemispheres, and decorated Christmas trees all with the aim of enriching and improving the tourist offer of the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

Dubioza kolektiv, Bombaj stampa and TBF

The Government of Canton Sarajevo (CS) announced that through the Ministry of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of CS, and in cooperation with the Tourist Board of CS, they continue to decorate the city and create a pleasant festive atmosphere that will be enjoyed by everyone who will visit Sarajevo this winter tourist season.

The people of Sarajevo will welcome the year 2023 with the hits of the famous Sarajevo band ”Dubioza kolektiv” in front of the Eternal Flame. The night before in the Youth Center in Skenderija, they enjoyed with ”Bombaj Stampa”, and on January 1st with the Split group TBF (The Beat Fleet).
