The “Sarajevo Taxi” Association has publicly apologized for the shameful move of a taxi driver who has decided to throw out a mother and her autistic son from the vehicle. Also, disciplinary action against an irresponsible driver was announced.

The Facebook status by Zlatiborka Popov-Momcinovic caused a lot of reactions which condemned the shameful move of the Sarajevo taxi driver.

“Sarajevo Taxi” apologizes to Mrs. Zlatiborka Popov-Momcinovic and her son for the situation that happened yesterday, in which participated the driver who is a member of our association. As soon as we were notified of the case, our internal control took the driver’s statement on the event and disciplinary proceedings will be conducted over it,” was stated from this association.

The driver will be disciplined and will be punished in accordance with the statute.

However, they say that it is not mere punishment, but rather they want to anticipate such situations through education so that these situations do not happen again.
