From 24 January to 27 January, dance club Romantik from Sarajevo is organising 5th Sarajevo Salsa Congress, and last night there was a pre-opening party, while the solemn opening ceremony will be held today in Holiday Inn.
Organiser of the festival Nera Zejčirović said that she expects guests from Slovenia, Turkey, Sweden, Serbia, Croatia.
She added that dance club Romantik has around 300 members and several departments; salsa department, Latin dances, and social dances.
Zejčirović added since they started organising this event, the interest in salsa grew rapidly.
One of the guests of this year’s congress is Swede Jonas Wallgren, who visited the congress last year and said he like it a lot and decided to come again.
