Sarajevo will host the First International Tour Operator Meeting, where more than 100 countries around the world will participate.

Named “Meet Up Sarajevo 2019”, will take place from March 28 until April 1st, and more than 200 travel agencies, including media representatives, will be the participants of the largest Sarajevo tourist promotion organized so far.

The event will also present Bosnia and Herzegovina as a tourist destination, so it is planned for participants to visit Mostar, Blagaj and Pocitelj.

This great presentation of many forms of tourism is realized in a project with the ultimate goal to incorporate Sarajevo into the map of the most attractive tourist destinations.

Sarajevo Mayor Abdulah Skaka expressed hope that the project will be a good start for a new approach to the promotion of the tourist potential of the capital city, but also of Bosnia and Herzegovina, adding that a special part will be dedicated to VIP meetings with the stated purpose.

Mayor Skaka points out that this world presentation is organized with little money from the city administration since the tour operators paid airline tickets and caterers for part of the gastronomic offer, Fena reports.
