sarajevogasThere is still no solution to the problem in connection with supplying Sarajevo and East Sarajevo with natural gas, and BH Gas could suspend gas deliveries on Thursday to KJKP Sarajevogas d.o.o., said to Fena the Director of Development Sector of KJKP Sarajevogas Mehmedalija Sijarić.

He said that he has information that gas could come to a halt at 08:00 on Thursday.

‘’For now we could say that we hope that it would not come to that, that sanity would prevail and that 60.000 buyers from Sarajevo, who regularly pay gas, and 4.000 from East Sarajevo would not suffer the consequences’’, said Sijarić.

He added that technologists for Sarajevogas are preparing for the least favourable solution.

Sijarić said that a meeting has still not been scheduled with representatives of BH Gas in connection with this.

If the suspension occurs, Sijarić said that Sarajevogas would timely intervene and work on preventing an unwanted situation. He pointed out that in Europe no one had gas shut off as a result of debt from the previous season.
