Kraljica leptira, glumici Alisa Lacko, Jelena ¦Éulvezan, Mladen SoviljOn Friday, 7 March at 18:00 at SARTR, children will have the chance to watch the visiting children’s show ‘Queen Butterfly’. The show is part of Sarajevska Zima Festival. This is a fairy tale with elements of cartoon and animated film, photography, theatre and computer animation.

‘Queen Butterfly’ is the second collaboration of the cultural center Pančeva with project The/Arto from Zagreb, a copyright tandem of Selma Parisi and Zijah A. Sokolović, and also eight professional productions of emerging theatre scene for kids „Pođi Tuda→…“ of Cultural Center Pančeva.

Holly Blue is a quiet and shy girl who sees with her ears due to her poor vision. Her ears assume the role of the eyes and mostly rely on the sense of communication with the world. Her hearing is so well developed that she can hear everything that other children and people cannot hear. And because of all of this, the position of her body is different and is not common for kids of her age. This is why Holly Blue withdraws into her own world, where she feels the safest. This fantasy world will help her to gain security and faith in herself, with who she is, because she is able to ‘see with hearing’ the sound of flapping wings-which is what other people cannot do.
