Saudi Company Denied Involvement In Transporting Weapons To Israel

Although Italian media reported that workers in the port of Genoa blocked the Saudi ship Bahri Yanbu, which allegedly carried weapons from the United States (U.S.) to Israel, the company has now denied these claims.

Bahri, Saudi National Shipping Co., categorically denied the accusations regarding the transport of shipments to Israel.

The company stated that the accusations regarding the transport of shipments intended for Israel are “completely false and unfounded.“ They also said that they are committed to the established policy towards Palestine and to all local and international laws and regulations governing maritime transport operations.

The company declared that it has never and will never transport goods or shipments to Israel in any form.

They also emphasized that all operational activities are subject to strict oversight and rigorous audit procedures to ensure full compliance with relevant regulations.

The denial came in response to reports from Italian media that workers in the port of Genoa blocked a Saudi ship named Bahri Yanbu, which allegedly carried weapons from the U.S. to Israel – a claim that Bahri firmly rejected.

It should be recalled that Italian media reported that on August 7th, workers intercepted the Saudi ship Bahri Yanbu, which had arrived from the U.S., claiming it carried a massive shipment of weapons, ammunition, and military equipment – including weapons and tanks for Israel.

Port workers in Genoa had previously intercepted a similar shipment of weapons on the same ship in 2019.
