Saudi Grant of 10 million USD for construction of Research Center

13141101_1765907410312602_810737209_nThe Council of Ministers of BiH defined Proposal for negotiations for conclusion of the Memorandum of Understanding for the Saudi grant for the construction of research institute “King Salman bin Abdulaziz,” at the University “Sarajevo School of Science and Technology”(SSST) between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and BiH.

Grant is worth about 10 million USD (38,000.00 SAR), allocated to the FBiH, is intended for the construction of a research institute and the dormitory in the framework of activities of SSST.

In this way will be ensured employment of hundreds of new scientists in the fields for which the SSST is registered, while the construction of the dormitory will solve the issue of housing students from the Diaspora and other parts of BiH.

The Ministry of Finance and Treasury will forward the Proposal to the Presidency of BiH for further procedure, and the Minister of Finance and Treasury was suggested for BiH signatory.
