The helicopters of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia have arrived in Trebinje and are expected to start extinguishing the fire in the area of Bijela Gora, while in the village of Vucja the fire is approaching the houses, said commander of the Lastva Voluntary Fire Company Milos Vucurevic to Srna news agency.

Vucurevic said that one branch of the fire is being separated for the village of Donji Skocigrm and Donja Bara, where the situation is critical.

“The fire is about 300 meters from the houses, firefighters are on the ground, we expect to stabilize the situation with the help of a helicopter,” said Vucurovic.

The helicopter of the Helicopter Service of the Republika Srpska was engaged in extinguishing the fire in the Bijela Gora area, as well as the residents of the surrounding villages.
