Newly appointed High Representative Christian Schmidt arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina with his family yesterday.
Upon his arrival, he visited the Tvrdoš Monastery near Trebinje and the Blagaj Tekke.
Mr. Schmidt expressed his admiration for the rich cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He underlined that, only though common effort and commitment by the entire society, with support and assistance from the international community, Bosnia and Herzegovina can get back on the path of progress and reverse the dramatic outflow of its young population.
