Milorad Dodik announced the arrest of all people who act on behalf of judicial institutions and police agencies of BiH on the territory of the RS, as well as the possible seizure of property of people from the RS who remain employed in the Court, Prosecutor’s Office and the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH, and the State Investigation and Protection Agency of BiH (SIPA), the High Representative in BiH Christian Schmidt also spoke out. He said that this would not happen.

He first thanked all the workers for their dedication to their work.

“Dear citizens, I would like to address those who work as officials in state institutions. In SIPA, the HJPC, the Court of BiH or other state institutions. You are doing a very good job. Thank you, because you are dedicated to the rule of law,” said Schmidt.

He thanked them for their commitment to ensuring the rule of law, emphasizing that nothing else is expected.

“Those from Republika Srpska who are pressuring you with claims that you could lose your property or end up in prison just because you don’t follow the ideas of some individuals – that won’t happen! Why? Because we don’t live in North Korea where one person decides the lives of all citizens of that country. We live in a free Europe where there can be different opinions. In a democratic society, there is a clear procedure that should be followed if opinions differ,” he stressed.

As he said, such ideas will not be supported.

“If there are different opinions, there is a procedure for considering them. You can count on the courts and those who care about the peaceful future of this country. All other ideas will not be supported,” Schmidt stressed.
