High Representative Christian Schmidt delivered a speech at the Peacemaker of the Century award ceremony, expressing his gratitude to former US President Bill Clinton.
The High Representative thanked the former President for his outstanding achievements in peacemaking, including the Dayton Peace Agreement that ended the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“America’s allies appreciate the strong and sincere partnership with the United States in implementing the Dayton Agreement and supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina on its European path,” the High Representative emphasized during the Cinema for Peace event in Berlin.
“We have achieved peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina – that is now a reality and the only perspective,” Schmidt said, Klix.ba writes.
