German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced a military aid package of 1.4 billion euros to Ukraine by the end of the year.
He told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that this is a signal to Russia that the West will not stop supporting Kyiv.
“This is a clear message to Russian President Vladimir Putin that we will not stop supporting Kyiv and that attempts to gain time will not work,” Scholz said.
He specified that the aid will be sent together with partner countries Belgium, Denmark, and Norway, and will include air defense, tanks, combat drones, and artillery.
