The girl who injured two 14-year-old schoolgirls with a cold weapon in the courtyard of the Gornja Tuzla Elementary School this morning is under police surveillance. She is being investigated, and it is expected that a detention measure will be proposed. The attacked girls suffered minor injuries.
The Tuzla Police Department, Istok Police Station, received a report at around 9:25 this morning that noise could be heard coming from the courtyard of a school in the city of Tuzla. When a police patrol went to the scene, it was determined that a girl born in 2011 had injured two girls born in 2012 with a cold weapon.
The injured girls were transported to the Tuzla Health Center’s Emergency Medical Service vehicle to the Tuzla University Clinical Center, where they received medical assistance.
Both girls were kept under observation at the Children’s Clinic. One of them had cuts on her left forearm, while the other had cuts on her left lower leg, left shoulder blade and left arm, the Tuzla University Clinical Center announced.
According to current information, the girls (2012) are not in a life-threatening condition, while the girl (2011) is under police supervision.
The Tuzla Canton Police Department announced that, in accordance with the Law on the Protection and Treatment of Children and Juveniles in Criminal Procedure of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, they are unable to provide more information about this case.
